|Just started the leg shaving thing. Feels cool! Anyway, what is a good lotion to use right after the shave or on a daily basis? What's the right way to care for the skin after the shave to prevent rash and itch as much as possible?
Thanks for any advice.

Congrats on your new venture. Shaving in and of itself doesn't warrant congrats, but taking a chance and going for something you wanted to try does warrant it. Hopping into bed at day's end and putting pants on take on a nice new sensation. Plus, you'll feel good about your legs before, while, and after cycling.
After shaving, I use Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (see link below), available in many pharmacies. A nice tub of cooling, moisturizing goodness. Does a great job of deep-moisturizing spots not used to shaving (e.g., legs). I find that lightly massaging this stuff in takes the itch away; I haven't gotten any rash, either. Apply as needed, or as itch begins in a couple of days (if it does).
Good luck, and enjoy.

|I moisturize after every shower, usually with Vaseline Intensive Care-- any flavor will do. Also be sure to use a sharp razor so you don't have to go over an area multiple times. Multiple passes can lead to irritation.|| |
