MS 150 is a fun ride
There are so many food stops its almost unbelievable and they stock better than most 7-11 stores with food and cheerful people. Dont worry what to eat just make sure you smile all the way. get some pasta and potaotes and some protein if that makes you smile.

Eat 4 Beef n' Bean burritos, 1/2 gallon of milk, a bowl of Cole Slaw, and 3 apples. For breakfast, keep it simple, 3 hard boiled eggs and a 6-pack of Schlitz Dry. I guarantee, you'll go over big with the other rider. Nothing is funnier than farting. Nothing!

I don't eat anything special the day before a long ride. I only take care not to eat extra spicy or greasy food, not much meat, and not to over eat. This is mostly to aid digestion. There's nothing worse than having gas, cramps, or needing to poop during a ride. You wanna get it all out before you ride.
Gel Well During The Ride!MikeC

Last year three friends and I ate one gel packet each at every 25 mile mark during the MS150, making sure that we drank at least a full bottle of water between each packet. We used Gu. None of us did anything else unusual, except for no beer the day before and nothing to eat between 7pm the night before and 5am the day of the ride. We each had light breakfasts before the ride. Each of us felt absolutely great during the ride, never came even close to bonking, and rode fast and strong. We all plan to do the same this year.
