when you wreck your new shorts? Can you return them with a huge hole or can you patch it for temporary use?

Are we talking a bathroom accident, the dog, or making street pizza?

Unless my buns are hanging out I tend to keep using them, but draw the line at being "offensive". It seems I have a bit of a problem when it comes to new riding clothes. I *never* crash in stuff that I've crashed in before, noooosire, it's always the new stuff. It's uncanny. So I like to keep wearing the old stuff, the new stuff is too painful, and I know I have "crash protection" built right in.

If you did something too them there's no way you can try and return them with a straight face. It's also a good reason why I never buy clothes at full pop retail - there's a HUGE mark up in the clothes biz and if you pay attention you can find stuff on sale.
