I am goin to be doing a Spring rally next weekend on a New Road bike. The new Road bike is A Raleigh r500 with Shimano Tiagra Shifter and a27 drivetrain, not to metion shifter that are new to me. I need advice on doing the Ride at the rally next week. I forgot to metion that the frame is Aluminum. Need advice

get out and ride your new bike get used to how the shifters work how the brakes feel how everything feels, and during the ride if your in a big group try not to use your brakes that is ussually the cause of a big pileup, some guy in a pack that graps their brakes, boom down comes everybody behind him like dominos, oh yeah, have fun thats whats its really all about

You should also know that you must get in the aluminum frame group, not the steel or Ti groups. It's standard procedure.
