|Well, I did my first bike frame comparison. Albeit, I only tested each bike for about 15 minutes, here are some of my rookie conclusions. I tried a Steel Lemond(Zurich) and a Carbon Trek(5200). The Steel felt more "alive" that is I could feel more of the road(like aluminum) but without the jarring effect. The Carbon had more of a "Dead" feel to it. That is when I went over bumps it just seemed to absorb the road like a sponge. I think I like the Carbon feel better(so far) but I need to try a few more tests(perhaps aluminum with the Cannondale frame). I'm not sure if this helps anybody but I took alot of people's advice from early posts and I'm trying for myself to see how each frame feels to me.|

|I test rode the bikes that you mentioned and also came up with the same conclusions. I went with the Zurich due to the frame geometry and most of my riding is in the 50 to 150 mile range. If you have a good LBS they will ask you what type of riding that you will be doing plus give you a fitting so you can see which geometry will fit you best.
