Optilabs cycling glasses--do they fit big heads?(3 posts)

Optilabs cycling glasses--do they fit big heads?Scy

Earlier, some of you guys suggested the Optilabs Airquest cycling prescription sunglasses. I've checked them out, and it seems the way to go. Problem is that they're in the UK (I'm in LA), and I'm concerned about the fit. I have a wide/face head and about 80% of the sunglass frames out there are just too small. Can any of you enlighten me as to if these frames are on the large or small side.

Also, do you recommend the standard polaraized tint or the yellow tint for cycling?

Again, thanks all.

Try zealoptics.com They make numerous styles of glasses with Rx, interchangeable lenses, etc. and they are not as costly as Optilabs and are in the US. They have retailers where you can try on the frames.

I have two pairs of Optilabs and yes, a big face/head. They fit fine. As for tint, the polarised lense is good for sunny or flat lit conditions. If you ride at dusk or when the sun's down, think about yellow or clear.
