Found a great use for discarded 700x23 inner tubes. Cut them into sections about as long as your CO2 cartridges and then slide a cartridge into a section -- cuts down on the rattling noise in your bike bag when carrying two or more cartridges.

I've been doing this for 3 years! Another tip...cut a 1 1/2 in section of inner tube, and then insert a stack of 4-5 quarters. I always keep a couple bucks with me this way.

Another tip...with a Zefal frame pump you can slide a length of inner tube about 2" over the twisting knob and down the the end of the pump handle. Then, take another piece and put one end over one set of the feet at the other end of the pump, bring it up and put it over the end of the other feet. Makes for a better friction fit, saves wear and tear on decals and frame paint, and helps keep water and dirt out of the twisting knob at the end of the pump handle. Probably works with other frame pumps but I haven't tried.
