|Anyone do other sports to cross train like swim or run?
I'd like to hear what you do and how much it helps/hinders your riding.

|I've been pimpin' it at the local skatepark on my 20". Good for improving bike control, burnin' fun calories plus my arms and back get a workout. It feels more like a rolling weight workout to me....|

|I like to trail run (about 15-20 miles/week). I find it drops my winter weight faster than biking alone.|

|I have experienced a rash of injuries this winter. I came to the conclusion that I needed to strengthen my non-cycling muscles. I felt very weak in my upper body and started experiencing lower back pain, probably due to strong quads and weak hamstrings. I don't think lifting makes me a better cyclist, but it prevents down time due to injures and gives me something to do when the weather keeps me inside.
Cycling as much as I love it, isn't a complete body exercise. You need to do something else in order to prevent your body from going out of whack.
