Black at the joints, then fades to red, then orange then yellow in the center of the tubes. It is a Landshark and it was described as "Explosion".

Wow, sounds like my Explosion 2!

Check it out at:

How close is it?

It is pretty close. Mine is black at the joints like yours, then it goes to red, then a little orange, then to yellow in the center of the tubes. I tried attaching a bitmap (that is all I have here at work), but this site only allows jpg. I sent one to your email from your post. You got this from GHV didn't you? I saw this on his site once. I see he has an Explosion 3 on the way. How do you like yours? What kind of setup did you go with? I ordered Chorus 10 from Gary with Open Pro rims. I then purchased some Rolf Vector Pros. This is a great bike. I like each one being one of a kind.

Red of course, only proper color for a bike. Although I might give a pass to Celeste.

Mine is silver with black and red trim. I am really starting to like the way it looks. The fact that Trek is written on almost every square inch doesn't even bother me anymore.

With the exception of the yellow decals on the frame, the clearcoat on the fork, etc., there is no paint on my bike - the frame is brushed titanium, most of the components are polished aluminum, and the bar tape is black.

2000 Giant TCR2 with that smashing ONCE paint scheme. Got a bit of red/orange on the top tube as well, but you get the picture.

In case anyone's wondering, I'm the same old Nigel. The system locked me out for some reason (not that I did anything bad or anything). Kept asking for my password in the last week or two (which is why I've been absent), but I'd forgotten it since I've never had to use it. Mr. Gregg hasn't gotten back to me yet with my password. I miss my old name already. I'm back, though, and glad to be here.

The funny thing is that I really think all road bikes should be red and all mountain bikes orange. But I DO wonder why the Atlantis is so close to celeste.
