|I came a to a stop the other day and clipped out one foot to cross an intersection. I noticed while I was waiting that I could turn the wheel directly into the path of my foot (while my foot was in the 3 o'clock pedal position). |
Is this normal? I know it should never happen on a mountain bike as the sharp turning radius of a MTB is crucial, but is it okay on a road rig where you steer as much with your hips as anything else?

|Yes, pedal or toe overlap is common as you do the majority of steering by shifting your body weight at speed.|| |
