|Bianchi Champione or Eros?||Susan|

I have been searching for a road bike for some time, and have located unused 1998 models. Both sell for around $850. Have I encountered a great opportunity here?
Are there significant differences between the Champione or Eros?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm anxious to begin cycling!

|at this site. Although they are for the 1999 models, they may help you in your final decision. There are a number of reviews posted for both bikes. Also, the reviewers post how much they paid for the bikes. Good luck!|

|I was also considering '98 bianchis, then was turned on to gvhbikes. checkout the bianchi giro at (http://www.gvhbikes.com/built.html) -- about halfway down that page. $895 plus shipping.
had a couple things upgraded/changed around on the one i ordered, came out to around a grand. it's being delivered cross-country by ups as you read this, should be here wednesday or thursday. let me know if you'd like a post-delivery report. good luck.

I had already read the reviews and analyzed the website. Thanks for the advice, though. Jeffreyh, let me know how the new arrival stands up to your expectations!
Are there any un/satisfied 98 Bianchi owners out there? Your experiences are what I'm really interested in.

|... and have been pretty happy with it. It's a good bike and has a nice ride, although it's a bit on the heavy side. There is nothing I can complain about it.|| |
