|i bought one to replace my rear tire, i put the old front one (still pretty good, it is a continental cheapie that came with the bike) and put the vittoria Rubino on the front. anyways, the the tire has a 5mm rip after 100 miles, put in a patch on the inside of the tire, i know this is a cheap trick and i really shouldn't be ridding it on the road but i have no money now, and just have to grin and bear it. |
anyway, another 100 miles later, another rip, same size, 5mm, twice now!!! ugg, never had this problem with the continental cheapies that came with the Trek 2200.
i've been riding on the same route, and pump up the tire up to 120 psi, even though, the box recommend 125 psi. both rips caused the inner tube to "bubble" out, looks like a tumor.
i'm never buying vittoria tires again, 45 bucks down the tube (no puns intended, well, yes, puns intended, ruined 2 tubes of mine)

|Take it back for a refund or a replacement. Generally Vittoria makes a very good tire, but defects happen. However defects should be taken care of by the store. (unless you hit something)|| |
