|I went of my first ride of the new season yesterday. My last ride was back on December 18. It felt so good to be riding again after a long snowy winter.
I only did 18 miles, took it easy. I know most of the rest of posters here have indoor trainers so you don't lose your fitness over the winter but for those who do stop riding, I'm wondering how fast I can get back to where I was. My typical ride was 30-45 miles averaging 18.5. By contrast yesterday's was 18 miles at 15.3. I don't want to get injured trying to come back too soon.
Thanks for any advice!
