I saw a Tommaso road bike for about $500. Supposed to be Italian with 7000 series aluminum frame? Anybody know that brand? Is it worth $500?

Is this a complete bike or a frame? I worked for Ten Speed Drive Imports whose "house brand" Tommaso was, the bikes were Italian made and top quality at the time. TSDI folded in '91 or 92 so the bike you're looking at is at least that old. Check it out carefully.

if anyone has bought one of these I'd like to know, too. I need a cheap mopderate performance road bike for commuting (20 miles/day) and doing it on a dualie mountain bike is getting old. I was going to buy an older used bike in the $300.00 range but you can get one of these new for $419.00 now. I'm not going to race it but I don't want to buy a complete piece of crap...
