Using Sport Mix in a CamelBak Any Problems?slbenz

I'm thinking of using one of those sport powdered mixes in my CamelBak. I was wondering if it would clog my CamelBak since I noticed that the Revenge mix doesn't completely dissolve. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated before I try it. Thanks.

I have only used ones that fully disolve in my camelbak. I don't think I'd try revenge, I would be afraid that the line my clog.

One think you can do -- use plain water in your camel bak and carry a water bottle with your sports drink concentrated. Take a swallow of sports drink, wash it down with a swallow of water. Then you can use any type of drink/nutritional product that you want in your water bottle.

I would just use water. That way you don't have to worry about interesting things growing in it. For your sports drink just carry an extra bottle with a concentrated mix.

I am not familiar with Revenge, but I have used Gatorade in mine many times. Wash it out with water after use and then store it in the fridge. I have never had any problems with anything growing inside mine.

I go with the water on back, gatorade in the bottle approach also.
I also throw the bag in the freezer between rides to keep things from growing inside.
I use Cytomax...biknben

Never had any clogging problems. The camelback hose is pritty wide. I don't think you should be concerned. If it did get clogged you could always just blow into the hose to clear the clog.

My bladder is very discolored but I don't care what color is. I also use bleach to clean my bladder when things start growing in it.
