comfortable bike seat suggestions...Asim

hi everyone,
im new to this site.
i had a few questions to ask. so i'll start off with the one thats most important.

i do a lot of multiday bike rides on my cannondale hybrid. the only problem ive found is NOT that my legs get tired, but rather my butt gets bruised after about 3 days! and when i say bruised, i mean its really tough to sit for more than 20 minutes at a time!

so i was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on comfortable seats or could you tell me what i should look for in a seat?

thanks for all your responses everyone!!!

if it makes any difference... im 6'4" and weigh about 215 pounds.

Go to a store and pick up one one the sheepskin-like seat covers, the same material as the car seat covers. They come in all different sizes for all sizes of bike seats. People may tell you not to get it, or may laugh when they see you riding with it, but you will have the last laugh. They are really comfortable and perfect for riding many days in a row.

those sheepskin covers bunch up and cause more problems than they solve in the cases i've seen. a good saddle for long rides should NOT be cushy.
