Do sloping top tubes give an aerodynamic advantage? Anyone know any frames old or new that have a sloping top tube.

I'm by no means an expert in this field, and there are others who can probably answer this question better than I. However, I will give a theory just to get things going...
No, they are not more aerodynamic. The advantage of a sloping top tube is that it enables the frame builder to create a lighter, smaller frame (less metal used). There is however a down side, and that is the angle of the rear triangle is much more shallow and therefore flexes more. This means that a percentage of your effort goes into the flexing of your frame and not the forward propulsion of it.
