Please help!Lance

Hi all,
I'm a new roadie, and I recently purchases some speedplay X1 pedals with the titanium axles. My question is, is it okay to grease the titanium axle before threading it into my crankset? Will this cause some kind of corrosion with the titanium, or is this okay? I forgot if you were not supposed to lube carbon fiber or titanium, or both. I would hate to ruin my pedals if I am not supposed to be greasing them up. Could someone please clarify this for me? Thanks so much, I really appreciate the help! Ride hard!

I have the same pedals, and what I do is this: You may have noticed that bottom brackets click in titanium frames unless they've been teflon taped. Your pedals will do the same thing. I'd recommend a wrap of teflon tape around the threads, and then grease the crankarm threads.
