Any opinions on Sampson bikes? I am considering the Sampson Silverton.

Thanks

My main ride for over 3 years has been a Kalispell. It's all been good: the frame, the components (Ultegra 9)as installed by Sampson, the price, the bike arrived intact, and Sampson is easy to work with.

I've checked out the Silverton on their site. It appears to be a quality frame. Complete bike prices/specs are hard to beat. The defunct Bicycle Guide/Bicyclist mag and Bicycling have given Sampson bikes great reviews in the past.

I guess the main issue is fit, since you won't get a test ride.

I've been riding a Kalispell since 1998. Great bike, great price and I really liked working with Sampson.
