Texas Proposed Legislation to ChangeDCP

I'm not sure if this is good news or bad news. The sponsor of the Texas bill restricting cycling on most roads is changing the proposed bill. http://www.bicycling.com/daily/cause/report0025.shtml suggests its a dead issue (and has the Senator who introduced the bill calling part of it silly), but could more silliness come out of it yet?

What do you think of the new proposal about riding in single file when a motor vehicle is present?

While I'm not prepared to suggest its over, thanks for everyone (in Texas and not in Texas)that took some action. It clearly had an effect. Hey, maybe our governmental system works after all.
Hope gas goes to a price like they have in europeLargo

If it doesn't, North American roads are going to get more and more cycling unfriendly.
Maybe $4 or 5 a litre would wake people up( and the Goverment)
