| I need a new bike | sfsailor Jan 21, 2004 11:32 PM | | My beautiful bike that I had just completed and only ridden for a 300 miles was a victim of a right turn with no signal accident. After dusting myself off I found that my bike has a bent frame/fork/handlebars and the front wheel is toast. At the scene the car driver said she would fix my bike so I now I need to find one.
It might be cheaper just to buy a Steamroller or a Pista or a completed bike so if any one has one they will part with I am in the market. I will also consider a good frame set so I can build myself another bike. Thanks. |

If the link doesn't work, search for "Hetchins" on ebay. Hurry up, there's less than a day left... |
| Did you file a police report? | hothand Jan 22, 2004 10:32 AM | | Sorry to hear about your bike/glad yer ok. I have heard time and time again about your type of accident where in the heat of the moment the motorist offers to pay for the bike. When they find out that the replacement cost is more than $50 they get cold feet and change their tune. If you haven't filed a report please consider doing so, that way you will have some recourse. Hope it works out for you. |
