| For Dave Hickey: Progress pictures... | Asiago Jan 1, 2004 7:12 AM | | So, here is the progress I am making on the single speed.
I started with this...

| Steel Bianchi | Asiago Jan 1, 2004 7:15 AM | | Tange Prestige tubing. So no, it's obviously not an Italian-made bianchi. I still love it. |
| Pretty easy conversion... | Asiago Jan 1, 2004 7:17 AM | | Simple really, here's the bike stipped of most stuff prior to wrapping bar tape. |
| Bar tape... | Asiago Jan 1, 2004 7:20 AM | | I tried to do the MB1 wrap job. It's okay, for my first attempt. I like this celeste tape, but I'm thinking about changing to yellow to go with the yellow trim on the saddle and the yellow axial carbons that will eventually go on the wheels, or maybe those yellow Vittorias hanging in the background... |
| Bar tape... | ukiahb Jan 1, 2004 3:33 PM | | very nice bike...FWIW my brother rides a similar Bianchi and has a yellow and black seat w/ yellow bar tape, looks really sharp. |
| Status: nearly done | Asiago Jan 1, 2004 7:23 AM | | So all I'm waiting on is the chain tensioner and I'll be all set. It hasn't come in yet, otherwise I was thinking about riding the bike today for the New Year's Day Ride out of the shop.
I'll post more pics in the future when it's all done.
