Innovative top tube protectors?...TFerguson

On a fixed with no cables/housing to keep bar from hitting the top tube, what innovative protectors have you come up with? I've seen bar tape and electrical tape. Any other good ones?

I've seen black pipe insulation. It looked very good.

There is a Japanese company called Kashimax that makes them, they are like a rubbery urethane material and have a piece of spring steel molded inside. Works like the kid's snap bracelets of a few years back. Holds on nicely and are to be seen at dromes around the world.
