Van Dessel Wheels/Hubs, any Info???mghwk

Hi folks, I am awaiting my DeBernardi frame's return from the powder coat shop and am assembling pieces and parts. Wheels are a big question. There seems to be little information on the offering from Van Dessel. Can anyone comment on the quality, durability, and weight of their wheelset? Their cost is low, but I am a little concerned about purchasing them without some feedback. This is a really fun project, will post pictures as the fun continues.

Thanks for the help.

from vandesselsports.com:
Strong 700c GoGo Hoop rims laced 3 cross to 32 hole VDC Flip-Flop hubs. 100mm spaced front & 130mm back. Black rim & hub, stainless 14 gauge spokes with brass nipples" Great for single speed cross and fixed gear riding.
.... MSRP $74.99/front
$84.99/Rear

Do you have a DeBernardi track or road frame? Stretching from 120 to 130 is doable, but I don't think the Van Dessel hub is worth it when there are several cheap but decent 120 hubs to use as winter beaters, then throw on some great 120's in the summer if you are so inclined. The Surly New 120 hub is a great offering at a cheap price, and you don't need to strech the rear at all. If is a road frame with 126 or 130 spacing, go for the Van Dessel, looks great for the money.

Was wondering if anyone has actually seen the wheels, too. Anyway, the project continues, going to pick up the frame tomorrow and head to the LBS for headset installation and BB facing. Trying to do as much as possible at LBS.

I used a set for a little under a year on a vd cross bike. aside from being a tiny bit heavy, they were great wheels. hubs were smooth, rims stayed true and they looked good. Id buy them again if I needed a set. less $ than surly and they include a (cheap) cog and lockring.
