Near as I can tell it is from the late '70's...Alan aluminum...but the cool thing is, the cable guides are all chrome and bolted on...

I plan on making it a Fixed gear, but am half tempted to find some vintage campy parts and make a retro.

No downtube shift bosses to get in the way. I've always liked the look of the old Alan frames. Much better looking than the Vitus.. Can't wait to see the built bike.

Dave mentioned Vitus...I had a Vitus aluminum cross bike...one of the bonded ones...geezzzz...horrible. The Alan frames are much more attractive!
