|This is going to be my winter bike. I'll post pics of the built bike in the next couple of weeks. I'm using Kogwell hubs laced to MA3s. 35c tires with fenders. Van Dessel suprised me and threw in the crankset.|

|Yes but the chain stay is covered in a clear plastic.
My whole goal with this bike is to make it a commuter/winter/beater bike and I'm fighting the temptation to upgrade everything. I already have a cyclocross fork with canti mounts. It's a losing battle.......

|I got my Van Dessel Country Road Bob frame with the intention of it being an inexpensive street lock-up bike. It quickly escalated and became almost as expensive as just purchasing the complete bike from Van Dessel. When I was too worried about leaving it on the street I ended up building another street bike.
It adds up quickly!
|Too late for that:-) nm||Dave Hickey|

|I am not sure if you remember but I mentioned in one of your earlier posts that you would need Odyssey 1999 BMX Brakes for your frame. They are what VDS recommends.
Anyway, a pair is on eBay and I even know the person that is selling them. He is a Kogswell dealer. Here is the link if you want them:
|I'm using one for the rear. Thanks for the tip nm||Dave Hickey|
