Looking to buy a fixed gear....xcmntgeek

Alright, if anyone wants to get rid of a fixed gear (54 or 56cm) I'd be happy to take it off your hands. I don't care to spend a whole lot of cash, maybe $550 if I can get away with it. I'm also willign to just buy the frame, fork, and wheels if anyone has them.

go to ebay and search for "fixed gear" in the sporting goods, cycling section. THeres one guy whos selling like 8 bikes, all fixed gear.
Or if you want something new get a Specialized Langster or a Bianchi Pista.

Good Luck
or a Fuji Track. (nm)jtferraro

for $550, you can buy a new fixie. Fuji Track, Bianchi Pista are the two popular models. The Specialize Langster looks like a great deal, should be very easy to convert to a fix.
If you just want to buy the frame/fork, try ebay. Get an old Italian steel from the 80s-90s, and starts from there. IMHO, fixies built this way always have more "character" to it. I am in the process of building one right now(Pinarello). Although it will probably end up cost a little bit more.
I just did a search on Ebay, and found this, would be perfect for conversion into a fixed gear.
