Newbie Question Re: Brake Lever Setup/Optionsmdehner

Just now looking to get into singlespeed riding, converting a junky old steel frame with 27-inch wheels.

Assuming I settle on the 'flip and clip' handlebar option (or buy some cheapie bullhorn bars) what is the recommended brake lever setup as far as type and placement?

Can any of you offer an overview or some pics?

Thanks much.

For some reason, it's 'acceptable'to deviate from the 'accepted' standards unfortunately associated with RBing and MTBing. That is, after all, why you want bullhorns on a SS, right?

Anyhoo, TT levers were invented just for the cowhorn, so I guess technically thats the 'recommended' solution.

Many use standard aero or non-aeros on the ends, some use interrupters or MTB levers on the tops. Whatever you want. It's all good.

Have a close up of my setup with bullhorn bars. I had a bar end lever, then switched to a paul cross lever.

For the whole bike.
