Help with Dura ace flip flop hub!koga

Hi all, I just laced up a set of dura ace track hubs with a flip flop rear. I installed a fixed gear on one side and I want to put a freewheel on the other, but lo and behold the freewheel threads right up to the spoke ends and binds up. Is there a spacer or something I need to get? Has anyone else run into this problem? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Koga

The DA flip flop is really for two different size track cogs ie: it's fixed/fixed not fixed/free. Go to your LBS as and ask for a bottom bracket spacer. They are pretty thin and they'll give you just enough clearance for your freewheel. Make sure you use a thin spacer because there aren't as many threads as a fixed/free hub. I have thousands of miles with this setup. Of course the best solution is to use a high flange rear hub. The spokes are above the freewheel.
Thanks Dave, I will give it a try.nmkoga

Don't use a bottom bracket lock ring. The threads are the same but it's too thick and your freewheel won't be secure on the hub. A BB spacer is about half the thickness and allows your freewheel to fit tight.
