For my main ride Trek, Iam looking for a little more ground clerance. Iam just wondering if anyone has used smaller then 165mm cranks.
I know some of the guys at oldskooltrack do, but thats so they dont have massive pedal overlap on they're KHS's.

... and found them surprisingly comfortable to use, even spinning like mad in 2:1 gearing on the road. Going back to my 170's after a couple of months with them on was kind of an eye-opener. The 170's felt inefficient, because they required more knee bend. You lose a lot of energy squishing all that soft tissue around.

Iam finding my 170mm's to be very friendly at letting my toe cages hit the front wheel on long track stands.
Going to swap my 165's back on, or get some nicer ones.
