Looking for info on an old PinarelloROOFLE
Jul 9, 2003 3:08 PM
I was recently given an immaculate Pinarello amatore by my boss. I know very little about road bikes and know nothing about this thing. It's a steel frame, it's blue, has a fixed gear, sew up tires, and what looks like a painted signature on the top tube next to the seat post.

A little back story: I've been taking a limping around the office after badly crashing on my BMX bike and my boss offered to give me his old track bike that had been hanging in his garage for more than a decade. The tires still held air, it has no brakes, it is super light, and oh my god is it fast. This thing is cool!

Sounds like you've been given a real prize. Treat it right, and re-glue those tires before you wad this one up too.

It has Nisi rims, Clement tubular tires, ofmega cranks and a 51 tooth chainring. Is this bike stock?
