|Unless I just buy the current model, I'm pretty much Campy clueless. I have an older Strada crankset with the tab for the inner ring ground off to use as a fixed. On the back of the crank arm, it has 165 STRADA and 11 in a little box. It has the Campy insignia on the front. It's going on a steel Bianchi Reparto Corse track frame with a 68 mm BB shell and English thread. What do I need to know about the BB required? Are there different tapers? Can anyone take a stab at what spindle length I will need?

|The current Campy Record Pista BB should work out. Taper is the same. I have one in my Cinelli track frame with early 70's Strada road arms and the chain lines up perfect on the outside ring. Also, this is nice for a road going fix as it's a sealed unit. I think the Campy road triple BB's are the same 111 length, so if your trying to save some dough you may be able to use Veloce or Centaur.|| |
