want to build a fixie with an older frame but was wondering what frames have 120 rs? do the old 12 or 10 speeds have this spacing? I don't want to pay a lot that is why I'm going to use an older frame.

Track frames have 120mm spacing. 10 speeds and older road bikes have 126mm spacing.

You don't need 120mm rear spacing.....Dave Hickey

I have 4 fixed/SS bikes. 2 are 126mm and 2 are 130mm rear. I'm using 120mm track hubs with washers. They are cheap galvanized washers from a hardware store. I have thousands of miles with no problems

What size do you ride? I have a beautiful red frame that was just re-finished. It is just a hair to big for me. I was thinking about building back up anyway. If you are interested, you can see it at

Let me know if you can ride a 23 c to c seat tube and 22 c to c top tube.

6 and 7 speed clusters are 126mm, and 8,9 and 10 are 130mm.
This is only for road bikes.........
