I just noticed that my Michelin transworld sprint tires have a couple of really really worn spots, from skidding! Its my fault for using a cyclocross tires and expecting it to not wear, but will I run into this problem even with slick tires?
Id like something with a generous thread, at least for my Trek commuter.
Thanks
Trevor Martin
I have a brake, but recommend Avocet Cross for tread life.dzrider

The name has nothing to do with cyclo-cross, it's just a hybrid style tire with lots of tread. The ones I have lasted so long that I want to get rid of them cause they look so awful.

T-serves. Ive got some narrow ones on now that are holding up better than the hutchinsons I had. they dont have a real aggressive tread though theyre available in some pretty fat widths.
