I am going to leave this group because of the Pop up Cookies that cannot be disabled without goofing up the ability to post to the group. I hate spam and they just cause nothing but trouble on my computer. When the forum gets rid of the spam crap then I will return. Best of luck to all.

Sorry to hear that. It is a pain to have to deal with the pop ups on all Consumer Review sites. It is a free forum though. They need to do something to pay for the site. I have used the classifieds in the past to try to help support the site.

When I get those Casino pop-ups I usually just curse under my breath and close the window. I would rather they find other methods than the popups. But i feel it is a small price to pay for the information and entertainment on these forums and review boards.

try downloading the web browser mozilla. it's based on netscape and has an option (check box) to kill pop-ups. here's the link if you want to give it a try.

They can be annoying. But look what we take for granted. The internet ain't free (somebody has to pay for the ISP and computer) but RBR is.

I personally find the pop-ups a minor annoyance...I click them into the background and kill them later.

Please don't leave...think of it as "finger exercise."

I use "absolute inetrnet eraser lite". Got it from Works great and you can shut it off or adjust it's settings to allow for some pop-ups (like when you post a pic here-you've got to turn it off.) It's FREE! We'd hate to lose 'ya over something so easily changed!
I never see it more than once a day from RBR boards. -nmTig
