I use a 44cm (c-c) handlebar for my road bikes. What size should I use for the track? Is there a general rule of thumb for sizing track handlebars?

|The narrower the better. I use 40 some of the other people use 38. The idea being it allows you to force your way into places during sprints that you would be normally unable to get into. It gets pretty dicey in the last few yards of a massed sprint race. Not the same handling issues that are prevelant in street riding. For street fixedgear use maby a 40 or 42 would do.
