anyone have TA track cranks(5 posts)

anyone have TA track cranksishmael

a really short bb is recommended (103mm?)with an iso(?) taper..but the TA bb supposedly needs special tools and I'd rather get another bb that uses standard tools, what do you recommend? will the chainline still be right? I plan to use a freewheel and the recommended chain is 1/8, any recommendations?

It was used in the last generation Dura Ace group. The BB is 103mm wide. Still can kind them on Ebay and other sources. Usually sell for aboput $30.00
can only find them for 50..whats an iso taper on the spindle nmishmael

I'll keep my eye on it...the bike store is going to charge me 45 for a TA BB ...my only worry is the taper isnt right, but maybe it is..maybe it isnt a big deal, I dont know, but I'd like to start things off right..I havent found out if the ISO taper thing is worth worrying about..
