Jan 31, 2004 3:07 PM | | What, if any, tires (or combo of tires) worked well in that soup that the 2003 CX Nationals turned into? I am thinking of going for 2004, C-men of course. I have the Michelin Jet S on front and back of my new CX bike (see post below), and I also plan to pick up two Michelin Mud2 as well. I am just wondering what some folks ran, what did not work, what worked, what worked very well (if anything can work well in a soup)? |

Jan 31, 2004 5:03 PM | | Challenge Grifos with the pressure dropped down around 35 psi worked very well. Rode Michelin Muds in practice but traction was not as good. Now if you had a set of the Dugast tubulars with the Michelin Mud tread..... |
