Absolutely strongest canti's with firm lever feel?Jan Gerrit Klok

The story on the www.paulcomp.com website on their Neo retro's sounds promising. I need all the power I can get, being big and trying to run carbon Zipps rims.
Also, the Paul brakes accept V-brake pads.
This intriques me, as I heard that you can take Dura-Ace Cartridge pads halders (they also make cork pads) and put a V-brake bolt through it, to make it work with V-style canti brakes. You still following me?

So, I'm trying to ask if the Paul canti's would be a good help for me to get some noticable decelleration on my race bike, racing is scary without brakes! My big hands make me long for a firm lever feel, so they don't need to be squeezed to the bars in order to work properly.
I know it's a lot to ask, power, firm feel AND mud clearance, but what comes closest?
Perhaps the Paul's are even strong enough with my sofar favorite Koolstop MTB salmon pads...

Thanks in advance!
