Drivetrain / Crankset / Chainring Gearing Help!Crash
Jan 12, 2004 6:34 AM
Hi! I'm getting a new/used cyclocross bike that comes with a Truvativ Elita 46/48 crankset. I'd like to run run a 48/36, where would be a good place to get different chainrings? Also, I'm planning on running an XT 11-32 in the rear, it's very hilly where I live and I don't run to run a triple. Does anyone else run a 48/36 - 11/32 setup? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

run a 46/36 1-30 8 speed (late 90's XT yea!) and it works dandy. Is the Elita 130 or 110 BCD? hard to find a 36 in 130. you can get a 38 from a few mfrs (get Specialties TA)
