|   Trouble finding brakes to fit my old Ciocc steel frame | Max11
Jan 10, 2004 6:07 PM | | I have a older steel Ciocc Xcross frame and the canti brake studs seem to close together to get canti brakes to fit right. I tried using Avid 8's, LX cantis even tektro mini-V brakes and they seem to close together to get the proper brake setup. If anyone could suggest the correct brakes to use with this frame, I would really appreciate it. |

Jan 13, 2004 3:39 PM | | find a set of vintage Mafacs or any of the newer models based on this design (Empella Froggleggs, Spookys, Paul Neo-Retros). Personally find the old Mafacs and go pure retrogrouch. They show up on ebay and various other places. |
