|Froze Toze Cyclocross Series race #1 January 4
The time is near, the first annual Froze Toze Cyclocross Series starts this Sunday! The first stop promises to be a great cross race with a fast course planned for the Poor Farm venue. In addition to the typical barriers, off camber, road and grass sections, we will hit the woods for just a small bit of single track (nothing technical) and there will also be sand to keep things interesting.
In addition to a great course, we will have substantial support from our kind sponsors. These include-
Fuji Neutral Support
The Fuji Neutral Cross program will be operated and run by Northeast Racing Services director, David Fike. NE Racing services Merlyn Townley will be chief mechanic and responsible for race day operations. 2004 Fuji cross bikes will be available to any racer who needs a spare bike during the race. A Fuji Neutral support mechanic will repair their bike and return it to the rider on their next lap. Neutral wheels will be available for anyone who does not have spare wheels and mechanics are available to assist anyone in the pit needing help with bike swaps.
Louis Garneau will be present with a display tent and prizes for racers.
Maxxis will be on hand and are bringing multiple pairs of tires to be given away as prizes.
In addition to supplying prizes for our racers, SP Imports founder and professional cyclist Wes Seigler will be on hand to heat up the A race.
Registration is $20 for all classes except "C, Beginner" which will be $15.00. There will be no late fee for registering on race day.
On line registration is available at BikeReg
