|Hey! Come on! If I can do it, anyone can!
I am no racer by any stretch of the imagination. I just commute daily back & forth to work (15km round trip) for the most part & toss in a little trail work on the weekends to liven things up. Heck! On my first race (DNFed), I could not even mount or dismount, other than coming to a full stop!
Afterwards, I hooked up with a great crew in Montreal, irregulars.ca, who took me on a training run & showed me how to the CX thing, mount/dismount. I finished my 2nd race last weekend, last but proud! Much preferred the wide open course compared to the single track in my first race.
Keep your head up! Enjoy the experience (& the pain)! Most importantly, have fun!

|Check out http://www.southeasterncycling.com/index.html. I have two videos posted taken at our local CX series last weekend. They aren't very high resolution but are good shots. Both were taken over the first set of barriers.|
