The meadow 2/3 of the way through the course. The trick was to stay in the correct ruts.

By the B race, this was much quicker to run than try to ride.

Around here, that kind of turf damage would hinder future venue options. Hope they have a good relationship with the land managers.

I saw people seeding the course during the C race. I assume that they continued to seed throughout the day. A rainy day plus 350+ riders completing 5-8 laps each will take a toll. In the first race, the 40+ men completed 7 laps in ~40 minutes but the in the last race, the A men completed 8 laps in ~60 minutes. I'd say the course rode a lot tougher as the day wore on.

makes our mud look ridable. great pix. our race sponsors have a member who is a landscaper who redoes all the damage every race.
great slop, makes me envious.

Looks like a great course. I've yet to ride a race like that, but am anxiously waiting to try it out. Just looks like too much fun. Thanks for the pics.
