I'm building a cross bike and have bar ends and brake hoods. This seems like a good alternative to STI but does it work?

I bought some for my cross bike but never installed them. They are used and I have the shifters too. Let me know if you are interested. I have never used them but I talked to a couple of cross racers for Kelly and they really like them. You can email me at dirtybike23@yahoo.com
Thanks. Check your e-mail. nmKG 361

They dont use anything to signal (clicks) where you are without looking down and looking at the drivetrain. Using um and riding takes some practice. They work best if not hurried. But they get the job done and are easier to use than bar cons.
