Yet another group of pictures from Sunday's CrossFire series race #1. Again, only the A race, as I was pre-occupied for the B and C races.

This is Sonic Death Monkey's Dean Freeman.

Yet another SDM rider, Chad Merryman in the middle of a set of three barriers. To my knowledge, he was the only singlespeed rider at the race.

Thad again, at the 90 degree turn. This was the end of the recently cut section, and it spilled onto the original section of the trail.

My name's Gregg. I had the yellow lab out there (that took a 2lb dump in the middle of the "specator area" during the B/C race. You were probably too busy figuring out how to breath. I'm planning on being out there Sun morn, but plans are tentative. You hang out at the Midtown Peddler some? I think I know who you are. If so, we talked about your Surly about 6 mos ago.

Looks like fun but we'd get a little noise from the "true believers" if we put in singletrack in the woods. I'd love it of course. Wish I could come down and make a few races but the series up here in STL has got my full attention.

singletrack, about 10 meters of it, maybe less. a large/full tree fell across the wooded passage and forced trail to be cut around it. it was interesting, but might have elicited complaints to the uscf from purists if this were a sanctioned race (it wasn't). the 'track added another dimension to an otherwise super-fast section of the course.

yo RP you gonna come ride with us in STL for the RBR mini-gathering on sat nov 15?
