|Anyone Know of a Bike shop in the Bay Area that carries a good selection of cyclocross bikes? Would like to test ride before I buy. If so, What brands do they carry? Thanks in advance for any ideas.|

|The Missing Link in Berkeley carries Bianchi, Surly and Trek (among other brands, but those are the brands that make cross bikes I can think of off hand). I think they have a decent number in the store for test rides. They sponsor a large cross team and quite a few of the employees race cross very seriously and are a wealth of knowledge.
Have you tried the dealer locator for Bianchi, Kona, Redline, etc? You could call the shops that are dealers and see what they have... good luck!

|I have a brand new Poprad '02 that is just sitting in my garage. $700 built to the website specs. Less than 500 ft. of riding on it. (email me if interested)
You can look it up at : http://www.lemondbikes.com/bikes/bikes_poprad.html
Also...if you are interested in used cross bikes, you can look up : http://www.craigslist.org (search : cyclocross)
There are a lot of used cross bikes there as well.
Santa Cruz has a ton of bike shops that have cross bikes (ie. bicycle trip, family cycling, etc.)
