Building a Bike from parts off eBaylexington476

I have a cyclocross frame and want to build the bike, but do not have the money to buy new. I am thinking of giving a try of buying the parts I need (all of them) off eBay. Anyone ever try this?

Is there a list out there of all the parts I would need (I have the frame and fork), so I do not forget/miss anything?

I'm doing something similar...ebay actually has a decent selection of parts for 'cross. And you'll actually be looking at a lot of road stuff for 'cross. As for a list of parts-go to kellybikes.com or something similar and look up their 'cross kit; that will show you everything you need.

Remember that you can use a mountain bike rear der. and you want a cassette with a good range, at least 12-27. I have an old xt rear der. if you're interested, let me know, and I'll sell it CHEAP.

good luck and have fun.
