Bar End Shifter Questionmikebdiddy

just got some shimano dura-ace 9 spd bar end shifters from Nashbar for $50.00-advertisment didn't say that they were dura-ace just that they were good for cyclocross or touring. Thing is, the instructions say you can only use dura-ace derailleurs-should I ignore this or send them back. I want to put them on a mtn. bike with a wtb drop bar,11-34 cassette and an xt der. please help!thanks.

no, but thats a cool addition. ATP is adenosine triphosphate, it's the chemical your body uses for high exertion (anaerobic) and a likely cause of runners (cyclists) buzz. Helps conversion to energy.
Big Up to the big guy, beer drinking posse!!!!!! Ride Hard, Drink Hard. we gotta start a Clydesdale class in cx. I'm trying to get Budweiser to sponsor a Budweiser Clydesdale Team. I have my connections. This is my last project I did for an Anheuser Busch sponsored product. Yes, I do have a great job.

Actually ATP is used for all exertion not just anaerobic and it is endorphions that give the buzz.

was doing laymans expl. more atp is used when exertion is increased. there is some research now that it's this increase that triggers endorphine release. speculating there is a relation..but correlation doesn't aleays prove causation. I don't have the article anymore..it came from a guy at UCSD if memory serves me right. thx for the correx
