Is anyone using Paul's Cross Levers with regular road brakes (Shimano 105, etc.) on their cross bikes? Any comments about how they work or pics of how they look all setup?

So I got a response back from Paul saying this setup will work great and that the pin will be in the hole closest to the bar. He also said the new Cross Levers now come with a hinged clamp so there isn't a need to remove all the tape, rock on!

I would still be interested in hearing opinions of how people like this setup and any photos people might have. Thanks!

Warning, cross' purist's opinion...Return those weany levers, switch the front and rear braking and get on the drops! You'll have much cleaner dismounts and the braking is much better. Good Luck

Had The Empella Froglegs versions on my bike last year but they added ALOT of cable friction to my setup so that my FEEL was compromised. Took them off for this season. I agree with the other poster..Consider switching your brakes so your left hand actuates the rear brake. Then when you dismount and put all of your weight on the toptube with your right hand, your left can do the braking without the bike trying to endo.....
